Eliza Sheridan is an associate in the firm’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology group. She regularly drafts and negotiates license agreements and a variety of commercial agreements for her clients’ IP assets. Her practice also focuses on privacy and data security, including conducting privacy audits and assisting companies with GDPR compliance. Eliza’s work further includes advising clients on compliance issues and assistance with internal and regulatory white collar investigations.
Eliza previously practiced as a solicitor at Gadens in Sydney, Australia where she focused primarily on commercial property matters, including acting for developers on acquisitions, general development support, and project sales as well as more general property transactional and leasing work. She also represented foreign investors, particularly from the Asia-Pacific region, exploring local opportunities for property acquisition and development within Australia, advising on tax and property law as well as assistance with navigating the local commercial landscape. She is a graduate of Macquarie University in Sydney, where she earned a Bachelor of Media with Bachelor of Laws double degree with honors.
