Malu Malhotra is an associate in Cohen & Gresser’s New York office. Malu has experience representing companies, individuals, law firms, and financial institutions in connection with criminal and complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, government and internal investigations, and arbitrations, as well as advising clients on employment matters.
Prior to joining Cohen & Gresser, Malu was a litigation associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York. She also served as a legal intern in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to law school, Malu worked in development at Her Justice, a nonprofit organization that provides free legal services to women living in poverty in New York City.
Malu is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was the articles editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law School Journal of Law and Public Affairs and a Littleton Fellow. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Science, Technology, & Society, with a minor in Latin.
