Owen advises companies, investors, and financial institutions on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, with extensive experience across several technology-driven and highly regulated industries, including satellites and space; cryptocurrency, blockchain and digital assets; communications and media; biotech and life sciences; and venture capital and private equity. His practice includes representing emerging and established businesses and funds in complex transactions, including strategic investments, securitizations, structured and project finance, joint ventures, and ongoing corporate and governance matters. He brings significant experience advising emerging and established businesses on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions.

Prior to joining Cohen & Gresser, Owen was the founding and managing member of Kurtin PLLC and earlier a partner at Salans (now Dentons), where he advised clients on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions and complex corporate matters, particularly in the satellites and space, technology, and communications sectors.
