Angéline Duffour Speaks to Affiches Parisiennes About New Employment Legislation in France
November 14, 2014
Under law No. 2014-856 of July 31, 2014 on the Social and Solidarity Economy, employers now have the obligation, since November 1, 2014, to inform their employees of any contemplated sale of their company, on penalty of the (relative) nullity of the completed sale. The stated objective of the law is to give any interested employee the opportunity to submit a purchase offer (Articles L.141-23 and following and L.23-10-1 and following of the Commercial Code). This highly controversial measure is strongly challenged by employers and continues to generate debate before parliament. Paris Partner French Publication Affiches Parisiennes.
