Testing Class Certification Experts: A Windfall or Beating the Odds? | 2026 ABA Class Actions National Institute

Melissa H. Maxman will moderate a panel at the American Bar Association's 2026 Class Actions National Institute on October 30th in Las Vegas.

Through a simulated Rule 702 motion to exclude hearing, the panel will explore the role of expert testimony in class certification, including issues of predominance, numerosity, and the reliability of methodologies used to establish class-wide proof.
